Cornerstone Christian Preparatory Academy was founded on a simple conviction: that South Carolina families deserve a rigorous, accredited, fully virtual K–12 education that never asks them to choose between academic excellence and Christian faith.

Cornerstone Christian Preparatory Academy exists to provide South Carolina families with an academically excellent, biblically grounded K–12 education — equipping students with the knowledge, character, and faith to glorify God and serve the world.
We envision a generation of graduates who are intellectually prepared, spiritually rooted, and ready to lead — students who know what they believe, why they believe it, and how to live it out in every sphere of life.

What We Believe
Cornerstone is a non-denominational Christian school. Our curriculum and community are grounded in the historic Christian faith as expressed in the great creeds of the church. We welcome families from across the Protestant tradition who share our commitment to Scripture, the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and a Christian worldview.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the supreme authority for all of life and learning.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, His atoning death, bodily resurrection, and coming return.
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
We believe that all truth is God's truth, and that a Christian education integrates faith and learning across every discipline.

Dr. Robert Harmon
Founder & Head of School
Ed.D. Educational Leadership, 20+ years in Christian education
Dr. Harmon has spent two decades leading Christian schools across the Southeast. His vision for Cornerstone grew from a conviction that virtual education, done well, can deliver the same rigor and community as the best brick-and-mortar Christian schools — and reach families who have never had access to one.
Mrs. Christine Harmon
Director of Curriculum & Instruction
M.Ed. Curriculum Design, SC Certified Administrator
Mrs. Harmon oversees all academic programming at Cornerstone. She has designed K–12 curriculum for Christian schools for fifteen years and is passionate about building courses that are both academically excellent and deeply integrated with a biblical worldview.
Mr. Thomas Ellison
Director of Student Services
M.Ed. School Counseling, SC Certified
Mr. Ellison leads student support, family communication, and the tutoring program. He believes that every student who struggles academically deserves a patient, credentialed educator — not a chatbot — and has built Cornerstone's tutoring model around that conviction.
Accreditation & Standards
Credentials You Can Trust
Cornerstone is pursuing full accreditation through recognized Christian school accrediting bodies and is designed from the ground up to meet and exceed South Carolina Department of Education academic standards. Our graduates will hold transcripts recognized by colleges and universities across the country.
SC Academic Standards Aligned
All core courses are designed to meet or exceed South Carolina Department of Education standards for each grade level.
Accreditation in Progress
Cornerstone is pursuing accreditation through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and SACS-CASI, targeting full accreditation by the 2027 opening.
College-Preparatory Transcripts
Our high school curriculum is designed to produce transcripts recognized by four-year colleges and universities.
SC-Certified Educators
All Cornerstone instructors and tutors hold current South Carolina state teaching certification in their subject areas.
